888 Ladies Bingo Raise Money for Oxfam on 888 Charity Day!
On the 17th and 18th December 888 Ladies Bingo did their bit to raise funds for charity, and their chosen charity to benefit from the 24 hours across these days was Oxfam. There has been so much talk at the site about you can win this and that and there has been so much up for grabs at Christmas, it is nice to see they are doing their social responsibility bit too. I hate to say it, but this is the first I have seen this festive season, so I hope other sites will get the message and catch on before Christmas comes.
It was not only 888 Ladies Bingo who got involved in this fund raising effort, it went right across the 888.com group, so included the casino, poker room and 888sport markets. They made their donation as follows and being the business they are and the fact that 8 just happens to be their lucky number, Oxfam got lucky to the value of 8% of all deposits made and played at Casino-on-Net, 8% of all deposits made and staked at 888sport and the same for 888ladies and Pacific Poker. It was a cash of the more you deposited, the more they gave, so I am sure those less fortunate will benefit.
